NEXTFRAME EDITING / SERVICE INFORMATION · 29 OCTOBER 2026
Terms & conditions
1. Who we are
NextFrame Editing is the trading name used for independent video editing services by a UK sole trader. Contact and correspondence details appear below.
2. Services and scope
We offer editing of client-supplied footage for Reels, TikTok, YouTube and brand content. A written project agreement will identify the footage, video count, duration, aspect ratios, captions, audio, colour work, export formats, revision allowance and any project files included. Filming, source project files, stock licences and music licences are not included unless expressly listed.
3. Quotes and orders
Editing is billed at £45 GBP per hour with a minimum charge of £45 GBP for one hour per project, not an additional start-up fee. After the first hour, time is billed proportionately based on recorded work time. Before acceptance, the written quote states estimated hours, the estimated total including applicable taxes, approved optional costs, a spending limit, payment schedule and delivery dates. We obtain your approval before exceeding the spending limit. Unused estimated hours are not automatically charged beyond the minimum. No order is formed by browsing this website or preparing a brief. An order requires written acceptance of the scope, total price and these terms. We provide a copy that you can retain. No subscriptions or automatic renewals are offered on this website.
4. Payments
Payment arrangements are agreed in writing for each project. Where a Stripe-hosted invoice or Checkout link is supplied, it applies to the agreed quote. The payment page will show the amount and currency before you pay. We will not ask for your full card number or security code by email, telephone or this contact form. Deposit amounts and milestones must be agreed before payment; no blanket non-refundable deposit applies.
5. Delivery and changes
Delivery is digital. Timelines begin only after receipt of the agreed materials, brief and any agreed initial payment, subject to consumer cancellation rights. Revision time is allowed for in the estimate and billed at the same hourly rate. Additional scope or revisions require an updated estimate and your approval before the agreed spending limit is exceeded. Waiting for client feedback is not billable editing time. Remedying work that fails to meet the agreed contract or statutory obligations is not charged as an optional revision. We will communicate delays and agree a revised timetable rather than silently extending a deadline.
Priority / rush delivery
Requested delivery windows are measured in calendar days from the date of the enquiry. Editing labour carries a proposed urgency surcharge of 100% for today or tomorrow, 75% within two days, 50% within three days and 25% within four days. Five or more days, or flexible timing, uses the standard rate. Surcharges do not apply to third-party asset costs. The calculator provides a planning range, not a fixed offer. We review the footage, confirm the final price including applicable taxes, availability and the exact deadline before booking. Selecting a date alone does not reserve it. No priority fee is charged for a request we do not accept. If an agreed priority deadline is missed for reasons within our control, the priority surcharge is refunded without limiting other contractual or statutory remedies.
6. Rights and footage
You must have permission to supply and use footage, music, logos, likenesses and other materials, and grant us permission to use them only to perform the agreed work. Rights in your source materials remain with their owners. The project agreement will identify the usage rights granted in the final edit and any third-party licence limits. We will not publish your project in our portfolio without your separate permission.
7. Cancellation, refunds and complaints
Our refund and cancellation policy forms part of these terms. Contact us with the project reference and the problem so that we can investigate and, where appropriate, correct the work. Consumer rights, including reasonable care and skill and remedies for work that does not meet the contract, are unaffected. We do not guarantee views, followers, sales or platform approval.
8. Restrictions and responsibility
We do not accept unlawful, infringing or non-consensual content. Availability may be limited by applicable sanctions, law or third-party licences and any relevant restriction will be disclosed before acceptance. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Applicable mandatory consumer protections remain available, including rights associated with your place of residence.
